Welcome, y’all, I’m Brekke (rhymes with Becky).

I’m a mom of four – stepmom to 2 boys, and mom to twin girls — juggling a career, creative endeavors, and my kids.

I know I’m not the only working mama (or papa!) that’s trying to navigate all the demands on my time and creative wellspring.

I decided to start this blog to create the content I couldn’t find. To create a place for community  — for folks to learn from one another about how we can do this balancing act better, and how we can integrate our work and our life not just for balance, but for sustainability.

DON’T FORGET – I run a youtube channel too, where I’m chronicling my life as a working writer mom, and where I will share some of my favorite tips and tricks for getting it all done (and for cleaning up the mess when you can’t get it all done!). I never promise to be perfect, but I do promise to be a work in progress.
